Short stories by Mikhail Afanasievich Bulgakov (Михаил Афанасьевич Булгаков 1891-1940) Russian writer and playwright, master of satire and the grotesque, struggled with the Soviet authorities for artistic freedom. Several of his great works including The Master and Margarita only published posthumously. This miniature volume features three short stories: Sorok Sorokov (Forty times Forty - of life in 1920's Moscow); Bogema (Bohemia); and Serial'noi Shest' No. 0660243 (Series Six, No. 0660243).
